Re: Toyota 3sge Revision 3 ACIS Spacer Group Buy

Can I ask why this is for rev 3 and later? Would it not fit the rev 1 and 2? not sure about the physical fit but rev3 intakes are different. On top of that I also believe that ACIS = Rev3+ and Rev1-2 = TVIS given this system is designed to 'trick' ACIS, I am not sure whether this would 'work' in th...

For any one else intending to reuse old droplinks... think again :!:

if your taking it to a garage I would 100% take a spare set, your 99% likely to have to use them and can always return/sell them

Thought tubbys were black bilsteins?

If your looking for lower maintenance fun would say n/a, if you like the cars so much you can transfer any susp/cosmetic mods to a turbo at a later date

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Drop links worn after ~1000miles?

Going by your description, if you disconnected the drip links, the ARB wouldn't of been under load. Are you sure the ARB bushes aren't worn? Nah- when i disconnected the droplinks the noise went away :thumleft: Not tried reinstalling yet, i have a feeling that might cure it as the BC links came wit...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rev 5 ABS, this should not be possible...?

Does the car make the ABS buzzing noise as you start to pull off? It's a difficult noise to describe but very distinctive. If you're not sure maybe try pulling the fuse and see if any noises are absent when you pull off. would have thought the buzzing noise was the power steering pump - although ha...

Re: [FINALIZED] Rare JDM 16" Blitz Type01 Split Rims - MR2 Offsets + Staggered

^ very interesting! I've been very tempted by these wheels but would ideally want them with polished lip and black inners, didn't realise they were welded. Anyway, will watch with interest. Not 'welded' to my knowledge - but in the past they have been painted without being split so that will make t...

Im temped to take these and attempt cutting these open... Id love to tackle a set of welded splits If anyone can do it you can  Will have to get rid of them soon as they are taking up too much space! Our new stainless steel cancer bars will be available as of today. Shame we had our toes stepped on,but our bars are more than just steel pipe mashed in a vice at home! Also they will be cheaper to members to help with mr2 life! cant see pics at work but I guess these are the rear ones? There are s...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Drop links worn after ~1000miles?

Weeping grease isn't the end of the world. I suspect something is slightly amiss if they have gone that quick. Early BC did have front droplink issues, but would usually bend them. The should be no preload from one side to the other. Thanks skywalker - could wear be anything to do with which way th...

[Mk2] [Generic] Drop links worn after ~1000miles?

Hello all Had some pretty bad rattling from the front since installing BC coil-overs all round. Particularly noticeable from the front left side when going over uneven ground (up/down motion), I Initially thought it might be the top gland nut but having tightened them the noise was still there.... S...
