My ecu is broke on my rev 2 tubby.... Can I replace it with a rev 3 ecu? Would it be a straight swop or would other things need changing for it to work?

So basically the ecu is broken?

Im after the answer to this question if anybody can help.......what is the component that sends the signal to the ecu which tells the injectors when to operate?
