Once the cover is off, it's easy enough to get a 10mm(?) socket on an extension back.

My Turbo is a bit like that, I tried tightening the cable a bit, but made no difference.

I have taken my car to the mechanic with the same idle problem. Unfortunately, nothing came up on diagnostics I don't think this kind of problem will throw a code? Did you have the engine warning light coming on? I'm waiting for it to get a little warmer, then attempt to pull off the throttle body ...

There are two vacuum / pressure take-offs on the back of the manifold. One feeds the MAP sensor the other is bunged - make sure the bung hasn't fallen off!

Nah, no aftermarket BOV, just the stock one.

I am leaning towards it being the Idle Speed Control Valve (under throttle body). Think it might need a quick blast of carb cleaner.

They're checked monthly too.

Also, I have ran it over a flat long surface and found no issues.
