Re: Excessive engine bay temps.

When I fitted a Turbo Kit into my MK3 had the same problem, I then had the Greddy remapped and they put a racing thermostat in to reduce the temperature then my problem was solved
Dont know if it would work in your case but worth looking into

As said, if you can afford buy a facelift model if not you will have to do all the checks etc
If your near Norwich you can have a look at mine and go for a spin and we will go through what to look at, Ive had mine for 13 years now with no problems

Cheers for any info.

Michael.

Its plug & play so just unplug the Unichip & plug the wires from the car back into the ecu

Well the weathers warmed up, time to get ones fingers out and arrange a meet, perhaps one evening at a pub to discuss the future of any meets

Re: Recommend handling instruction in East Anglia?

So I have the Mk1 SC, and I would like some tuition to cover handling and getting to know what happens - and what to do - at the limits. Late Summer now - maybe too late? - but can anyone recommend a place that's not too far from Suffolk where I can go to explore this safely and with a tame expert ...
