Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Greddy SMIC BHP
but i suppose ill need to do a side exit exhaust aswell then, as mine is a hks hiper with the silencer removed, would defeat the purpose of the intercooler in the boot with a great big hot exhaust underneath it! im definatly thinking about it. would the inlet manifold need changed? as i already hav...

Come on guys don't let me go on my own....I'll get all lonely lol Joking aside. Scott I charge you with heading the team good Sir ! I suggest a fresh thread and a relentless assault of pm's, emails and hunter gathering for a solid selection of 5 entrance, possibly more. I've been out of the game for...

Re: Track Day Friendly Exhausts..., (Possible Sticky Admin?)
Interesting feedback guys. If not for the fact that my Nur is simply too loud for the track i'd happily keep it. Now another interesting question. which systems from the list are nice and light, and which one's are known to be heavy?! My personal consideration at this stage is the Berk. I've seen on...

Re: SIIIICK looking MR2!!
Guys, some of you really are missing the point. That car has more aero thought than most MR2's i've seen on this site. Dantheman......... you comments are quite frankly ill founded and ignorant. Aerodynamically this car would run rings around your yellow banana! ;) Mikejc Can you share the calcs an...

Guys, some of you really are missing the point. That car has more aero thought than most MR2's i've seen on this site. Is it pretty, not exactly to my eye but I would be really interested in driving it before drawing my conclusions. A chav kit it is not, a lot of effort has gone into that and I thin...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Greddy SMIC BHP
I think to be honest, for a no compromise performance choice, (power wise not handling) the boot is the way forward. But for me an all round performer is the C/C. It will perform on street, drag and circuit well. Doesn't add more weight to the worst possible area of our car, ie the rear. And you don...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] japsspeed or nur bur spec exhaust?
you mention the big power mr2,s are runnin nur spec its prob because the people who have the power cars have the money to buy the top brands like blitz which are over expensive. defo am not sayin it doesnt do as a good job as the motoria style one but you have to weigh the price over performance . ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] japsspeed or nur bur spec exhaust?
No offense but I think I'll stick with the Nur Spec. I believe you get what you pay for.....buy cheap buy twice and all that. But if on a budget maybe it's the answer. Mikejc nahh not always, Usually your just paying for the brand name (Blitz, HKS, PP etc etc They might even be made in the same fac...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Greddy SMIC BHP
and if i fitted a charge cooler? The c/c will not net you massive bhp gains over the i/c side mount. What it will do is ensure you have your power more of the time. Myself and a lot of the old school original big power guys have all been there... and we all went the route of the charge cooler after...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] japsspeed or nur bur spec exhaust?
The Blitz Nur Spec is well known to deliver good performance gains. It's one of the best made options out there and one of the loudest too. I personally wouldn't buy the Japspeed, if your looking for twin exit, I'd recommend the Burk Technology.... Very nicely made, sounds good and I hear it flows w...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Greddy SMIC BHP
If your taking things that far don't half ar$e the cooling. Sell the side mount and invest in a charge cooler unless your happy to cut your car up and lose your boot, in which case a boot mount I/C works well. Trust me address this side of things now, ditch the side mount ic and save money buy havin...
