Re: Love/Hate Relationship with my curvey rear....
I recently removed the side bits off my Rev 2 in preparation to fit a Rev 3 spoiler and bootlid, it currently only has the middle part of the Rev 2 spoiler on it and strangely I think I prefer it without the sides. Lol i did the same and thought that way too :thumleft:  I think that loo...

Re: Unknown wire??
Many apologies for that, was a quick pic during a break at work. My concern was why are they unplugged and possible problems with connecting them back up?

Just had it pass with no problems yay!
In the advisory info however, it says 'This vehicle has Type Approved seat belt installations'
Anybody know what this means?
Cheers

Re: Stainless exhaust.
I am trying to organise getting a stainless exhaust for my wife's 1999 Toyota MR2 MK2. I have sent e-mails and a contact form to MIJ Exhausts in Walsall after reading good reports for them. So far after 5 days there has been no response to either my e-mail or contact form. Can't ring them as my hea...

Re: coilovers
Yeah I've checked the drop links and can't feel any excess play, they feel pretty tight.
What's the procedure for changing the top mounts, is it reasonably easy to do?
Thanks for the replies guys

Yeah the centre of the strut, there is no thread proud of the nut, the nut is only a few threads on the strut.

coilovers
Hi all, my car has developed a knocking from the rear passenger and seems to be getting worse (or could be paranoid). My very friendly local mr2 specialist tells me I've got cusco coilovers and I've had a good look over all the suspension and the only thing I can see which is suspect is the centre n...

Yep, dead easy to replace, pull down the side carpet in boot and it's pretty much self explanatory. Always a few 2nd hand ones popping up.

As for manuals, they have never really made a Haynes type like they did for the mk1 but you can find a cd version on ebay for not very much pence

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] advise on tempt roof silicone fix.
Had to do this trick on my car i bought a little while back
I wonder if it's because your attempting it during the cold and damp weather?
Not sure if it makes any difference, ur using internal silicone?

Apexi power intake, no power gains really but better throttle response and a lovely sound. You get a nice shiny rain guard too
