Just make sure that it doesn't rub away at the paintwork when you turn corners... they have a tendency to rock slightly, and the sponge pads can be abrasive once they get a bit dirty.
Out of interest, what do club members want from a club insurer? I'll start with the obvious: Low premiums How about: Flexibility with modifications Option to drive other cars (yes I know this is common with fully comp, but I am a 22-yr old with TPFT insurance that lets me do this... it's a godsend!...
I've used mine for a 60-mile round trip to work all summer. It hasn't missed a beat, and I have to say is a darn sight more fun - and, believe it or not, comfortable - than the 10 years newer clio I had before.
I passed you on the roundabout between Greenhill and Herne Bay at about 6.30pm. You wouldn't have seen me, I was in a big orange van with "Sainsbury's" written on the side!
Are you local?
I did consider that Chris, but I got visions of the bare metal arm pinging back and going straight through the windscreen
Thanks for the replies everyone Its nice to know there's such an extensive fount of knowledge available at the click of a button!
Thanks :thumleft: Yeah it was a bit of a surprise! I didn't have much of a choice, it was really bucketing down. Lucky it was the passenger side I suppose. I've had a look at the screen, it doesn't seem to be scratched which is lucky  My local Toyota garage quoted £5 + vat for the blade, which...

I couldn't recover it as I was on a dual carriageway, so I'm not sure how much of the arm I've lost. Here's a couple of pics of what I have left: [IMG] http://i429.photobuc...
Surely if you want that much money for a car you'd take some decent pictures. They're all dull and slightly blurry. It makes that gold paint look like the underside of the car is dirty, especially the shot of the rear of the car!
They seem to be quite hard to get hold of. Try posting on the wanted section, there may be someone breaking a mk1. Try scrappies as well.

Looks good to me
I paid 650 for mine... its pretty sound but a little shabby in places! I'd say closer to the 1k mark, assuming its as nice as it looks
