Re: Rev5 red stitch gearknob

A bloke at work bought a brand new one from Mr T last year, and I seem to recall him paying about £70 for it
I'll see if he kept the paperwork for it.

What are the widths and offsets of the wheels?
What make/model are the tyres?
Can you add pics of the kerbing?
Do the wheels rub the arches etc?

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 6.5" speaker spacer ring options

Yeah, I'm having a bit of building work done at home, and there was some 20mm MDF lying about, so I made some spacers.
Job done (but not as smart as yours)

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Trunk cable override?

Are you sure you havent accidenatlly disabled the trunk release by turning the key in the opposite way to normal to lock it? Theres a feature that if you lock it by turning the key a certain way the inside release wont work (its the "valet" locking mechanism). I'd check thi8s first before...

[Mk2] [Generic] Trunk cable override?

I've just tried to open my frunk and pulling the release handle has no effect, so:-
How do do open the frunk in the short term?
How easy is it to fit a replacement cable?

Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Green ECU Water Temperature Sensor - Where the bleedin eck does it go

Which revision you got, if its a rev 1/2, click the link below and go to post #6 which has a pretty good pic. http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39090 I changed mine last weekend, its a bit awkward to see, but once you`ve unplugged the connector, you just need a long 19mm socket....

Thermostat/coolant removal

Does anyone no howw much coolant I need to drain before I can remove the thermostat?
Don`t really want to do a flush etc, as this was done last year when I changed the radiator (I know I should of swapped the t/stat then).
Any tips on doing this without getting to much air in the system.

Cheers
