Re: do fensport know what they are talking about?

I didnt realise that my thread would bring so many replies, even if they have nothing to do with what i asked lol. my car is getting done tomorrow yay, with the toyota mounts. fensport were going to charge me the handling fee, but after an email to them today, i will be refunded the full amount. how...

Re: do fensport know what they are talking about?

a Toyota dealer fit them? I aint that stupid! A garage round the corner from me only charges £30 an hour labour. Very good bloke he his. My mate is in his final year of being a techy, so he does all my work for me. Plus he has a MK1a. He knew exactly how to put my engine in, as hes already changed e...

Re: do fensport know what they are talking about?

You know, I just really can't be bothered with it. You say its no hassle, but it is. I havent got time. I'm not putting the shocks in myself. I am not going to take a day off of work to do so either. New mounts are coming wednesday, car is booked in for Thursday. Yeah its more money, but I suppose m...

Re: do fensport know what they are talking about?

Sorry about the swearing, but a company that are meant to be "good" telling me Toyota never made 3 studded suspension mounts, how are you meant to believe or trust them again in buying something? I'm not going to drill the holes, and I dont trust a garage to either, thats why. Oh and cartl...

Re: do fensport know what they are talking about?

Fensport were very sure that they got it right, being 4 studded. Thank you Lauren!!! but i wont be drilling any holes. The PCD will be out, and i dont trust a garage doing it, coz if they fu ck it up, too much meat will have been drilled out, would leave it looking poor, and possibly not safe. I hav...

do fensport know what they are talking about?

Has the MK1a got 3 or 4 studs on the top mount of suspension? i have bought TRD top mounts with 4 studs. unfortunately i didnt check them with my car, and looked like a fool when garage said they are wrong. toyota say they have 4 studs. fensport suggested that i drill another hole, but this wont wor...

Re: Knocking noise even louder after changing bushes!!!!

i have been suffering from the similar noises. i think the garage my car went to (to have wheel bearing done and engine sorted out), had the rack? damaged when it came off of the trailer. i changed the droplinks (toyota, so expensive) but the knocking is worse. my girlfriend's brother's mate owns a ...

i got mine in 185/60/14 standard size, but with the 149mph rating lol. miniroundabouts are so much fun its untrue, in the wet of course. im a little shy when it comes to really planting it on a wet roundabout though lol. mine are £50 each for balancing and valves etc. what is everyone else paying? a...

Re: Best tyres (and wheels)?

Bridgestone RE720 are the best tyres ive ever owned. whoever says they are crap, its a xxxx. they are bluddy good in the wet and drive. very hard to loose the back end on a roundabout when pushing it.

my recommendation

Re: getting Mr 2 back on the road again

Re: new pics with alloys on

i dont like them. they are too big. dont get them powder coated black please. they'll make the car look so dull. lowering the car would make it look better, but wouldnt it have been better getting some 15's or there are some decent 14s out there, get the suspension done, and you'll glue the road. bu...

Re: Exhaust gaskets, are they really that expensive?

System G, u will learn very quickly, that Ebay is not the answer to your mr2 buys. i bought my gaskets from Motor Parts Direct for 95p each!!!

i was thinking about buying a load, and selling them for ridiculous money, as there is obviously people out there willing to buy them!!
