no mate. got the correct gasket for the exhaust though, so at least it sounds better. i also need rear pads, so they are my concern now. i thought when pads are on the way out, the make scraping noises when u brake. on one side, my wheels scrapes like hell.

Re: horrendous mpg
ive just read on another website, that if you remove the cold start injector plug, it will obviously stop it coming on, but will still send fuel through. i believe it is on the thermo stat housing. wouldnt this do damage?
coz, if its on permantly, thats why im drinking petrol like no tomorrow!

Re: Hello!
Yes, you really have to watch out the first few weeks and even months. As youve got it in the summer, wet roads shouldnt be very common (lol) Never under any circumstances put your foot down when it is even slightly damp on a roundabout. you will be grappling with the steering wheel! I was surprised...

Re: Help Req, Mk1 running problems.
i have a serious fuel problem as well!
ive had to turn my fuel mixture right down to lean to actually squeeze another 17miles out of the tank. i only get around 50 miles on £10! there is something seriously wrong here....

Re: high pitched electrical sound
I have been told today, whilst having an oil leak checked out, it could be the fact a belt it too tight, which would be right, as its right behind me head where the belts are at.
thanks for all the help though
