Re: CLOSED - 2nd Aeroware Polyurethane Front Splitter Buy

Just got a PU front lip for my Supra and would definitely go for PU over GRP in future on any low car... really bendy and just pops back into shape. In fact if I get another MR2 in time I'll probably be in for an Aeroware one :thumleft: Only negative is it needs painting properly using adhesion prom...

Re: Mk3 roadster woodsport 3 litre v6 and mk1 3.0 V6 conversion

This is one of the best looking mk3's I've seen. Sadly you're a veeery long way away, it's a little out of my price range and I think my girlfriend would leave me if I came home in a bright yellow convertible

Re: [FINALIZED] Rev 2/3 Turbo 1 owner

Gutted! I've been looking for a Tintop turbo for ages and never saw this... but bought a Supra last week so no longer in the market #-o

Looks in very good condition for the price so shouldn't hang around for long

Re: MR2 REV3 GTS Turbo T-Bar

If it was a tintop I'd pretty much give you a deposit for this right now!!! Looking for a cheap Rev3+ Turbo but it's to use as a track car base so I really need a tintop.

Very cheap though, bargain for someone :thumleft:

Re: Anti roll bar weight?

Cheers :thumleft: I'll stick 7kg in which should cover it... last time I underestimated size/weight for an international DHL shipment I got whacked with £50 extra charges when the shipment with the correct weight would have only cost about £8 more :?

Re: so i got a rev1 and non staggered wheels, never slid or skidded!

Got a corner i go around every day from work, its about 100 degrees over maybe 100 yards, cambered too. i go round this at 40 (the limit) whether its wet or dry, never even a hint of letting go. That's because the MR2 has excellent grip, with the engine above the rear wheels to keep it planted. Nor...

Anti roll bar weight?

I'm looking at having a front TRD anti roll bar collected by courier, anyone got an anti roll bar lying around they can weigh so I can estimate?

Doesn't matter if it's stock, TRD or any other aftermarket, if i've got something to work from I can estimate near enough.

Cheers :thumleft:

[Mk2] [Generic] Any ideas on removing these wheel nuts?

My project tubby came with Team Dynamics Drifz alloy wheels with these (what I assume are) unusal slimline wheel nuts. They almost look like torx nuts but not quite. I assume there is supposed to be some sort of key for them but I didn't get one with the car - any ideas on getting them off? I'd rath...

Re: Roll cage, T-Bar, tall guy, and retain interior

The cusco cage fits with all of the above other than you would have to cut 4 patches of carpet and 2 in the rear firewall carpet if it's a 6pt. Not 100% sure on the height thing actually, I'm average height and had a good few inches of headroom with the cusco cage, and that was with bucket seats whi...

[Mk2] [Generic] Interior Dome Light LED Replacement

One of the bulbs in my interior dome light has gone, so I'm looking at replacing with LED's. I did this on my previous '2 with some LED towers from ultraled's, IIRC they were BA9 233 type bulbs which fitted fine and were bright enough, but they don't seem to do them anymore, and none of the ones the...

Re: What should I do next to my sprint car?

Is there a particular reason you need to keep all the interior? I know its a daily driver but I used my stripped-out, bucket seated, roll-caged NA as a daily driver (i'm an accountant  ). You get used to it, I actually miss the noise. If it's MSA sprinting in a roadgoing class then everything ...

Re: Extra down force on track

A wing will only increase downforce at high speeds, and probably not enough to offset the extra drag and weight it will give to the car. Going totally spoilerless would probably be the best improvement you could make in that department! Having said that, due to my above opinion, I've never actually ...

Re: What should I do next to my sprint car?

Definitely get aftermarket strut braces front and rear, even the cheap alloy ones (ebay) do their job ok, but get your hands on a decent set if you can afford. TRD are probably best but rare and expensive compared to the others, greddy, tanabe, cusco etc all make decent ones. Next on the list should...

Re: Search function - it really does work! Quick tutorial

Old post I realise, but I think it'd be a good idea to make the "search for all terms" the default selected option, rather than the "search for any terms". If you dont select all terms, it pretty much brings up 90% of the posts on IMOC for anything you search for. Having the leas...

Premium membership problem

I logged in today and noticed it said I was a regular member, so I figured my membership had expired. I re-subscribed just now and paid the £7.50, but it's still saying I'm a regular member and I can't access the premium boards. I then checked my emails and found my subscription was automatically re...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Bucket Seats

Are they side mount only bucket seats? Base mounted bucket seats are (relatively) easy: 1) cut the runners off a standard seat 2) grind off anything left from the stock seat side mounts 3) bolt the (now seperate) runners into the car 4) measure up two flat steel bars to go across the two runners and...

Re: [FINALIZED] 94 rev3 n/a coilovers,forged alloys now keeping!

Might be best to get the oil light issue fixed first, it's probably something small. It's always a bit of a gamble buying a car but buying one when there's warning light on is something most people will shy away from :-k even if it is only a minor issue.
