I have a quick release steering wheel fitted to mine - way better than carrying a Krooklock lol Its made by snapoff - its only 10 mm thick - and very good quality. The only problem is finding a supplier - they are hard to get hold of... :) Brian Here you go: http://www.tekniqauto.com/US/snapoff/snap...

Buy three, one for each side, and a third (either hand).
Cut the center section out of the third, cut that section in two, and use it to extend the rear section of the first two sills so that they can now replace the full length of each sill...
Thats my plan - will tell you how it goes

Aha! - brilliant - I didnt realise it stored the codes :) Im getting error code 42 - which apparently is a speed sensor signal - since the speedo is actually working Im going to assume its the speed signal feedback to the ECU. There is a KMH / MPH converter fitted (by a previous owner) which I assum...

I have a twin fan setup fitted to my MR2 (got them through Rogue Motorsport. Having fitted then I can make three comments: Yes they do make quite a noise - but you can only hear it on tickover - and it sounds great lol Yes - more rain is likely to get into the engine bay - but after a year of parkin...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] front numberplate
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency is not aware of any self-adhesive number plates that meet the British Standard requirements.
Doesn't make them illegal - it just means that they are not aware of any lol

Great write up - many thanks - Im just about to do the conversion on my MR2 - except that I will be using a brand new radiator of a Triumph Trident that I bought on Ebay for 15 quid :) I do have two questions however: I understand the ST205 Chargecooler pump is rated at 12 amps - and can pull up tp ...

If one wants to be REALLY pendantic - there is a small recess around the edge of the front import number plate holder lol. Lets be honest there does come a time when individual police will make up their own minds - one will pull pull you - the next wont.... Look at the amount of discussion going on ...

actually THEY are correct and they are doing their job for pulling you. You MUST fit a UK sized plate unless the bodywork etc prohibits the fitment of a UK sized plate. There's no MR2 I've seen which can't fit a UK sized plate on the front as there's no moulded recess for an import one. You just ca...
