I've changed the whole wiring loom in my car which involved removing the whole interior. it wasn't too bad a job, the dash is the most complicated part to remove.
Took me a day to do the lot, that was with rain delays mind.

i have the spring type tensioner too. mine is a 92 rev 2 g-limited.

That's what i thought too. but when i put the rev 2 engine in with the rev1 loom it wouldn't turn over or anything. swapped the loom and it fired up first time.

my engine warning light comes on each time i get to about 70mph. i've checked for error codes and get 42 (no speed signal). the speedo works fine but when i changed my gearbox this weekend i noticed some of the teeth on the speedo drive cog were mashed. after doing a search i now know rev 2+ turbo's had better synchros. was this the case for n/a models too? also will a rev 1 box fit straight to a rev 2?

mine is making a dry bearing type noise also. it appears to be the left front. i've checked it for play and there's nothing there. the noise is bloody annoying!
