For now, i've drilled a hole near the snapped off end and stuck a tie wrap through it and round the wiring loom behind. It seems quite secure, def better than before.

How did you do the silver dash... was it one of those stick on kits?

Glad you said about the paint needing to be heat resistant cos i've been toying with the idea of re-spraying mine for a while now and never really considered the heat factor.

I use the autoglym leather cleaner, followed by the leather care. Seems to do the job.

Being able to take the t-bars out on a sunny day and bomb along listening to the noise from behind me....
