Re: Remote Central Locking

Well, there's central locking on the 2 as normal. And an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser will be have remote locking. I've got a clifford 300. I don't think I've ever put the key near the precious paint work!!

I don't think the 360 tried. I've run into a 360 on a dual carriage way near me. I wasn't keeping up.

Very nice.

Have you got rid of the fogs? Could you post a pic of a more front on view?

I'm thinking of losing the fogs and plastic grills etc

Individual replies

Ok this site is pretty cool, although the old one was easier to use. I think, that on post, you should be-able to reply to an individual, not everybody on the thread. Also, this would mean you'd only get notified when someone has responded directly to your post, as opposed to someone elses which is ...

Re: courier costs

I know you're not going to want to hear this, but if you were nearer I can send anything from anywhere in the UK for £7.99 8) But they have to be picked up from me, so I'm afraid I can't help. Sorry :( Keep phoning couriers and play them off one another. This company said they'd do this much etc etc

Re: 1/4 mile times

Yep, I got a 13.2 with Nankangs! Although the grip was poo poor. The back end was jumping up down violently though and as you can imagine traction was, well, wasn't. In fact, the bumping was so bad that I broke two transmission mounts

Re: Dump Valves

Hey Merlin!

Is your HKS SSQV standard or have you got any of those gold/purple fins? Has it got a really high whistle to it?

I *think* mine has a purple fin which is meant to release a lower sound. But the whistle is still a bit high for my liking.

cheers

Would a Blitz power id.......

Work all ok on its on without the BC?

Would I be right in thinking it gives you 0-60 times, rough power estimate, and er, I don't know what else. Just I've found one cheap and wondered if apart from being more lights and buttons :D it you would do anything useful? Duty cycles maybe?

cheers

Re: ARRRGHHH I cant remove the sidelight clusters..!!! dead bulb

Well, the how to was pretty straight forward. Get a flat head, gently hold this in the vertical groove (gap between the 2 halfs of cluster). Whilst your pushing it in wiggle it on a horizontal axis, the screwdriver should start making a gap between the two parts. The part on the side of the car (nea...

 170, sound like time for a new gearbox! Max is 172 isn't it? 8) Mate, looks good! Picked up Banzai at lunch and took a little looky whilst dining my cuisine, compliments of Ronald Macdonald. I'll read it properly later. But yeah, looks cool! But IMHO I think rev3+ lights would look better :)

Re: Possible answer to the old debate? IC VS CC

I know people will ALWAYS argue this, but from what I've learnt, for big power a nice big IC would be preferrably. Look at ALL the high power 2's from Japan. ie the pace chargecooler I've heard has a small core and can only hold so much boost. So it depends. IMO if you're wanting around 350bhpish th...
