Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Modifying/lightening the stock flywheel

Findanza one here for at least 8k miles, no problems so far.

I had one on my old almera. That one was a night and Day difference, Not so much on the MR2.

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)

I've currently got a single line plate that fits inside the Jap import holder.

Its in the stock location.

Its not quite 100% legal but its perfectly easy to read at a distance.

The knock sensor was faulting and causing the ECU to retard unnecessarily.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Lot of oil Intake Crank Case breather to blame.

A little bit of history here: The car has just come back after being diagnosed with a faulty knock sensor that wasn't throwing any error codes. This was retarding the timing up to (20-25 degrees iirc). This has all been fixed now. After only having it for 1 week I started to notice oil was seeping o...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Lot of oil Intake Crank Case breather to blame.

Has anyone ever had so much oil coming from the rev3 catch can into there intake that it has covered everything from the Intake piping all the way to the Intercooler intake ?

Anyone got any ideas what could be doing this ?

Can the OEM catch can fill up ?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo options for circa 400 bhp

I tried this out on a very limited run to the shops.
3rd gear from 2k i was seeing about 7-8 psi. Its moving so fast its difficult to get it exact though. Although thinking about it i have a dyno graph somewhere around.
