Re: Re: My Rev 3 Turbo? Something Special
I can understand your dilemma.. Same thoughts here about (NOT) selling my Rev3 1994 tin top Tubby. Bought it in the UK in 2006 with only 54.000Km, is now at about 69.000Km and in storage since 2 years as I just have too many nice cars, cannot drive them all.. Have considered selling it...

Re: Track day tyres........what do you use??
:thumleft: We are using the Toyo R1-Rs 235/40/17 on the rear and T1-Rs 215/40/17 on the front at present! The rears are superb and handled a track evening at Brands with no problems! The fronts just about melted though! Dunno whether to persevere with the T1-Rs and up the pressure or try something ...

Re: Track day tyres........what do you use??
Don't know how they will hold up on the heavier MR2, but I race in the MaX5 cup here in Holland with race prepped Mazda MX-5 which use the Toyo R1R and like this tyre a lot.
Very good racing tyre in both dry and wet

Re: [FINALIZED] Heavily modified 635bhp rev3 mr2 turbo
I must say I am somewhat puzzled by your description of the car that you are offering here. You state you spent lots to get it right after buying it from Chris. At the time that Chris was selling, I was another seriously interested party, but you bought it just before I made up my mind. At that time...

Re: [FINALIZED] One last time complete....My 635bhp car.
Have been trying to close a deal with you for some time now, but somehow couldn't and understood you were holding on to the car but now see it for sale again :? . I see you offering the car again at a price at which I will take it if still in same spec as you offered it some time ago. If this is the...

Got this message too.
When starting the link, it starts acting like a worm infection, blocking attempts to end it, so I cut it off by turning off my computer.
Ran an AVG virus check afterwards and seems like I was in time as no infections show up.

Enginebay, boot and interior pics would give a better impression of the car as a hole and how it is maintained

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Where to get Rev3 Turbo ECU connector harness/loom?
I have just ordered from this company: http://autosportwiring.com/ They are a bit more expensive, but are specialised in these harnesses, have given quick additional info on my questions and the part looks better quality imo. Now will have to wait about 7-10 days for it to arrive and can then start ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Where to get Rev3 Turbo ECU connector harness/loom?
I have a multigauge unit that needs connecting to the ECU wiring but don't want to start cutting into the OE wiring loom. So am looking for a Rev3 Turbo ECU extention harness/adapterloom. Meaning a short harness with on one side the OE size connectors that plug into the ECU and on the other side wit...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] safe boost to run with standard internals?
Rev3 runs 0.9 (13psi) bar as standard. Small mods like a different exhaust makes it run about 1.0 bar (14.5 psi) Have you seen my topic on the dynorun of my Rev3 with standard internals running 1.17 bar? Have raced it like this on the track for several 1000s of KM without any problems ever: http://w...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Dynoed my Rev3 Tubby today, how far can I take it?
10:1 is NOT what you shold be looking at! that is FAR too rich You are right far too rich but that is what most run at on a stock ECU Bob And that is exactly (well, at least part of) the reason why I changed the ECU, the OE ECU smothers the engine with fuel as a protection but costing quite some en...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Dynoed my Rev3 Tubby today, how far can I take it?
AFAIK about the Mines ECU is, that it has maps to 22psi, has no speed or fuelcut and raises rpm's to about 7800 About the MOT: yep, here in Holland a '94 will need a Cat to be able to pass emissions testing As far as relieability goes: as stated I have been running this setup for over 2000KM on trac...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Dynoed my Rev3 Tubby today, how far can I take it?
I have a very healthy low mileage (about 63K km/40K mls) '94 Rev3 Turbo with some very effective add-ons which I have been using mostly for trackdays over the last few years. As it is so fast compared to other cars on the track, I finally dynoed it a few days ago and was amazed by the result. The en...

Re: MR2 Rev4 Turbo (£4200 ovno)
Just a remark: I always wonder if people realize how dangerous a rollcage can be when used in a roadcar, ie not using at least a 4-point harness and a helmet.
During an accident you can easily hit it with your head and split your skull.
Car looks nice by the way, good luck with the sale.

My bad
didn't notice Earl's real name, so the sale probably failed and it is for sale again by Earl/Glen.

Looks to be a nice car with lots invested.
