I'm also curious!

What kind of wheels do you have? I can see how you'd visually miss noticing any build up like that with the standard wheels.

Re: Wind noise...

I tried adjusting the window again, and also how the door sits on it's hinges. No luck getting the window to move laterally, so I don't think I've created a better seal by adjusting things. I got some of the Halfords silicone lubricant, and will apply this as and when the weather permits. I think I'...

Re: Wind noise...

Ahh thank-you.

I'll give it another try at the weekend, but I couldn't really see how it adjusts 'laterally' when I last looked.

Cheers

Wind noise...

Hi all, I've recentley noticed I'm getting a fair amount of wind noise from the very top corner of the driver's side window, where it seals with the B pillar and roof (I've a sunroof model). I tried adjusting the door latch on the B pillar, but realised it only sits in one position. I also took the ...

lights

I managed to get hold of my Raybrig's from TCB just before they stopped supplying them, I think they cost me about £100 delivered... but took longer than 62 hours!

Set up with some Philip's Bluevision bulbs, they're such an improvement over standard. :thumleft:

Update

Hi all, a quick update for you...

I went the way of the Oukie and hand crafted (bodged!) my supercharger light unit and the reflecty fog light bit from a UK unit together.

This works like a dream, and I passed my MOT today!

Re: Supercharger light fog conversion

Thanks for the answers guys! :thumleft:

I might go ahead and try modding the inside of my light cluster like oukie mentions, as this way I get to keep my second reversing light too! Now to see if I still have those UK clusters....

Supercharger light fog conversion

Hi all, I have some Supercharger lights from the USA, I've done the necessary wiring and bulb change to make one of the reversing lights act as a rear fog light... problem is that the light looks VERY pink, and not particularly bright! I think this might be down to the really quite thick white plast...

Re: Engine bay cooling fan warning -UPDATE

OK, another update! All had been well, but now when I get high up the rev range (5500+), the battery and engine cooling fan light flash on again  . They stay on unless I drop the revs. I was wondering if they have fitted the wrong alternator i.e one with less output, I know there are a couple...

Re: Engine oil.

Really? When idling, my gauge sits a bit below 2, whre cruising at about 2-2.5k rpm it sits dead centre, and when giving it the beans it will just about reach 3 on your scale. Never had any engine issues though and it doesn't seem to use much oil :-k I never realised it was so low compared to other...
