I knew you didn't take on general repairs Paul or I would get all my work done by you! Lol it's a shame I'm not closer Barnsley, the garage I've got the price off are very reputable and always do a good job, just making sure it was a fair price.

New clutch!

How much should I expect to pay for a clutch supplied and fitted....had a price of £360 all in does that sound right?

Great piece of knowledge thanks a lot! I've already changed the tps once and the problem continued so you think the problem could be in the wiring connecting to the tps?

Well idle is a little high now with the tps lead unplugged. But yes car revs freely with tps lead unplugged but will not when I reconnect the lead.

That's good to know I don't have a trolley jack etc so I was going to have a go without lifting it!

Hi everyone, just bought a janspeed system for my mk1 and was considering fitting it myself. Can this be done without ramps? Also can anyone tell me where the best place to buy the gaskets from is and is there a fix to the studs coming loose which I have read about? Any advice would be much apprecia...

Well took th car to Paul @ woodsport today and unfortunately I'm going to have to eat my own words as the fuel tank was indeed full of diesel! Lesson learned I suppose but quite embarrassing lol.
