Hi, if its the one i mentioned to u then that car is a 1993 on a K plate not J & REV3 came out on the late 1993 K plate.cheers. :D I'm sure there was a post on the old forum about how can a rev3 be on an L plate and it not be a rev2 - so I think it's L regs that have both rev2 & 3s. And her...

It's snowing today and showing no sign of letting up. Yeah, I'd say it's the fuel tank. I asked about a sloshing sound in my mk2 when coming to a gentle halt that only happened sometimes - someone suggested it's the fuel tank when it's nearly empty - which explained why I only heard it sometimes. Of course you can't hear it in the mk2 when accelerating...

I remember reading in an owners manual (can't remember which one off the top of my head) that said for brakes use Dot 3 or Dot 4, and for the clutch use Dot 3.
But I can't really see why you can't use Dot 4 or 5.1.
