Re: New to forum + advice on where to buy
Don't bother looking on Autotrader. Prices are just crazy. There was a UK rev1 3S-FE (yeah, the even slower MR2  ) recently for over £5K  Currently we have... "T-Bar 10th Anniversary Limited Edition" although it's a tintop rev2  A UK rev2 for......£6K ](*,) Another re...

AFAIK, yes.
Although there's different ones for climate control (JDM), aircon (rare UK option) and non-aircon.

Re: Fallout 4....
Microsoft and Sony make their money game sales. ^this. £50 for a new game. How much does a disc cost, plus burning the game to it and a case? Quids in! To be fair, most console games cost around 5 times as much as PS1 games did. And taking into account inflation, games now are roughly the same pric...

Re: Fallout 4....
Really?? There'd be all sorts of incentives to launch a game on the new platforms only. Such as? I'm sure the developer would like their new game to be sold on as many customers on as many platforms as possible. But if it's too big for the PS3/XB360 then it's not going to happen. Little profit in c...

Re: Fallout 4....
I bet they could have done it for 360 as well, but used it as a ploy to get people like me to upgrade. I say no! How do the developers benefit from getting people to upgrade? The only people benefitting from that are Microsoft and Sony. Even then there's very little profit in console sales. Looks a...

For the sake of a couple of quid, get new ones
It takes Toyota two days to get stuff in.

I'd never recommend re-using them
I used to get mine from Toyota, that way I knew they were the correct size.

Re: Ticking Noise
My cars first timing belt change (by a dealership) was handed back to me with a ticking noise on the drivers side.
It never changed with revs, and it went away after the car warmed up.
Took it back to them, they said it was the tensioner, which they then replaced for free.

Re: Leaking Boot Spoiler?
Could be: - spoiler gaskets - rear lights - grommets at bottom of boot (under carpet) I got inside the boot with a torch while the wife sprayed water everywhere - nothing. Until she sprayed from underneath and a little came through one of the grommets. If it turns out to be this, just get a replacem...

Just finished watching Motorway Cops on BBC1 this evening.
Someone got a £110 fine for having no insurance.
I've just paid £330 to Sky Insurance
Food for thought

Re: Mini Cooper S, life after the MR2
Just came back from a test drive in one. Was a bit disappointed, really did expect a good shove and a big s/c whine, didn't happen. Not bad, but not for me. (yes, it was a supercharged model, would feel very dumb if that was the reason the things I was after weren't there) As Pete says: You will ne...

Although, I'm still keeping my eyes on autotrader for a black rev5 turbo
*edit, and just got my insurance renewal through, around £200 cheaper than the MR2

Re: Noob Queries
The front isn't actually all that light, Toyota claimed weight distribution as 45% front, 55% rear.
Never noticed any frontend lightness when I had mine, although it was a rev5 with the wind flaps infront of the front wheels
