It was the wiring plug. One pin had snapped. Cut the plug off and joined the wires and its working fine now. Cheers guys.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Headlight not popping up

I've done a search and read lots of topics but cant find a definitive answer. Passenger side headlight doesnt pop up when I switch my lights on. The lights work, just doesnt lift up. Drivers side pops up so it cant be the fuse as that works both. Lifts up manually fine so nothing obstructing it. Whe...

Can anyone tell me exactly which ones I need to order? Also there isnt a Maplins too close to me so do any other...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev3 Rear Light Conversion

Absolutely gutted. Spent all day changing bulb holders and re-wiring to get my rev3 lights in. Finally got everything working, fitted the lights and then came to fitting the centre panel. Hammered in the back end for the reverse lights no problem. Offered up the centre panel and thought hmmm how doe...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Freeview advice

I have a Necvox dual diversity freeview box installed in my car with two internal window mounted amplified aerials, but the signal is terrible. The setup replaced one of these cheap single aerial freeview boxes I bought off Ebay but the signal was actually better on the cheap box. Question is, in ce...

Used to have one behind the passenger seat. Sounded pretty good. Restricted seat movement a lot though.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] omg help me.. removing engine ..im sooo stressed!

I raised mine bit by bit with a 2 tonne trolley jack, 2 axle stands and lots of blocks of wood. Jack it up, put axle stands under, then put jack on blocks and raise higher, build up blocks of wood/breeze blocks to floor of car, put jack on more blocks and raise higher, etc. until high enough. Jacked...
