Brake upgrade query

Fairly simple one, are the later spec front brakes a straight swap or will I need to change anything else? Obviously I'll need new discs but do they mount the same as the early ones? Found a website where the later spec brakes end up twenty quid a corner cheaper than the early ones so might as well ...

Re: Coilovers on Mk1s

Someone remind me why I bought a bloody 1a again? Seems to make sorting decent suspension an extra pain in the ar$e. #-o If mk2 struts fit a mk1b then I can't see any reason why doing something like this wouldn't let you fit them to a mk1a: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=157429 Oh tha...

Re: funniest moment for you in gaming?

Years ago when I used to play Medal of Honour Allied Assault online alot on the PC my friend (Spawn on here) and I were on opposing teams in a TDM, ended up with just the two of us being alive with a few minutes on the clock remaining. So rather than duke it out we chose to spend our time bumming on...

Re: PS3 controllers for first person shooters

You actually can use a keyboard and mouse on the PS3...
I think it was supported by um... one of the Unreal tournament games?
And I think that's it. Handy, I know.

Mixing suspension parts.

Just a quick question; I've just picked up a pair of 1a KYB rear shocks. Now, do I buy a pair of new KYB fronts or do I use the second hand Koni fronts I have sitting around instead? I'm guessing as long as I set the Koni's to a similar stiffness as the KYBs I shouldn't have any major issues... Or i...

Re: Max passenger weight

But I'll let someone else confirm that! :D

Re: Brakes Lock too easily

Yep, Goodridge are the most common ones I've come across, HEL also do them, you can find them on most of the part sites that supply MK1s, fensport, camskill and the like.
Personally I found I couldn't actually get my standard brake lines off so I think I'm going to have to get a garage to do mine.
