Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] centre bore query on wheel spacers
unless yo get spigot rings of the correct size they will be pointless. Also if your wheels have not got a bore 66mm or bigger so that you can fit spigots you will need different wheels. My advice would be to get some with correct bore as it will cost you alot in spigot rings and the idea of buying hu...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Fitting "poor" Border front bumper
you need to lift the front of your bumper bud.you can see from the side pic that it is not high enough as the gap for the side moulding is way to bug towards the leading edge hence does not sit flush with the bonnet. you will have to chop/grind the sides were nescecary and am guessing that it will n...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] close up pics of border spats ( or modified border spats ) please
to make your life easier, put some masking tape on you bumper and draw align on it to align the spat. the top of the spat (not were it flicks up by the arch) needs to be 50mm lower than the middle body line.thats the measurement i ended up with when i ligned them up with my border skirts and i had no...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] close up pics of border spats ( or modified border spats ) please
They are just a xxxx fit bud,but unfortunatly that is what to expect as most compnaies don't make what they sell and just import crap kits from wherever. get the angle grinder on them and many hours of getting them were they are required and rebonding/fibreglassing back together and you can achieve ...

glad you saw thru it.But i am slightly confused.I thought that if a cheque cleared then everytrhing was ok as it meant the money was there for them to take?? How can it bounce later if it as already cleared and shouldn't the banks be accountable for it if thats the case.? could some one explain more...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] has anybody put border spats by thereself?
If done correctly you do not need to use sealer.use bumper screws on front arch/rivet by exhaust and a bracket on inside of spat attached to both bumper and spat.makes life easy when you need to take them of. It depends on how good they fit or how good you can make them fit. heres a pic of mine whic...

Re: 2's failing on Exhaust noise levels
I am curious about this as the turbo was not a uk model so how can they say compared to a std model,as in the theory all the cars that came to the uk could have been fitted with after market exhaust and what we class has std could be someone who has fitted a quite exhaust. plus it is a bit unfair if...

Thanks, its apreciated and i am gagging to work on it again properly.I have been cutting the archs, welding them and fabbing a mid pipe for my apexi N1 so that it sits totally square to the trd rear bumper, instead of it sitting underneath and possibly burning the paint off lol.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
