Re: Using Heated Rear Screen as radio Aerial
i fitted an electronic one behind the centre panel using the power from the stock aerial and the existing aerial cable to the front. Worked fine though I rarely used the radio and then removed the unit when it died of old age. Ran the car for 4yrs without a head unit

i used the subframe at the rear of the car and the suspension arms at the front though tbh most of the time I jacked up the car using a block of wood underneath the body then axle stands under subframe / suspension mount

M plate turbo or older doesn't do CAT Test, not in Great Britain anyway. You could likely get a CAT section made up to fit your car but ££££££'s unknown

Re: Dyno results. 420@ the hubs.
280whp in mr2 conversions - near enough. First guy to do it got 275whp and created the kits to make it all work 2gr-fe 280whp in MR2 conversions lol You can get more then that out of stock 3sgte easily without spending half a million. If you read that build carefully you'll find that he has to make...

Re: Dyno results. 420@ the hubs.
mm think thats the torque figure you are quoting as the 2GR makes about 280whp at something like 6500rpm IIRC Not always..it depends on particular vehicle and not as high as 280whp..realistically 250bhp if you're lucky. Just to stress that out 250bhp as in Toyota's not 280whp! Ta 280whp in mr2 conv...

you need to use the Search for all terms setting in the search and use the word AND between your keywords. It's good enough, pity most of the pictures are gone due to photobuckets changes a few yrs ago.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Temp gauge going to max
does the actual radiator get hot? Do the two radiator pipes get warm? If no to either then I'd suspect the thermostat to be shut. The heater matrix gets coolant direct from engine so if it's hot then you can assume the engine is hot too.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Mr2 rev2 turbo cone filter size ?
that's a high price, I'm sure I paid a lot less for a universal fit like this one for example
universal kit click me means you can then fit any 75mm cone filter as a disposable service item
edit - rev2 with the afm? Scrap my post above lol - wrong revision

if the boot is leaking, check that it's not all rusted through esp in the pockets heading down into the wheel arches. That's what killed mine in the end, enough was enough
