Re: Hmmn, Pace radiator on a MK1...
thats one sexy looking rad toni but as you know im currently running a V6 3.0ltr through a stock mk1 rad and the temp never moves from where it did before when it was 4a-ged,indeed i ran the 3s-gte through a stock rad as well. There are no cooling issues at all on a mk1 no matter what you do in the e...

Re: AP Calipers and custom discs on a MK1 with 15" wheels..
thats a lovely brake conversion toni ,i like that a lot....2-3mm is plenty of clearance,i only had a mil on my st205 conversion if you remember so it will be fine. One little point though, "there are no off the shelf solutions"? yes there are,the ST165/185 single and twin pot calipers will...

Re: Mk2 NA Engine problems
double check everythings connected back up,id be willing to bet the fault is self inflicted....check there isnt an air leak on the inlet side somewhere, lambda sensor hooked back up? just go back over everything on the engine install,im pretty sure thats whats wrong. Also do a fault code pull...that ...

Re: Mk1 Driveshafts - compatible with mk3?
I can tell you that the splines in the hub will accept the NA or SC/turbo driveshafts Not true im afraid lauren, the turbo driveshaft will not fit into the mk1 hub.Rogue i take it a 3s is going into a mk3? did you know theres acutally a few factory built mk3 3s-gtes? well i didnt know up to a few mo...

Re: MK1 1.6 N/A Upgrade...
ah i see where you are coming from, you might want to consider just upgrading the 4a-ge instead, myself and another guy (Mr H) are working on fitting big bike carbs onto the 4a-ge.Basically it involves leaving the fuel injection system on the engine but binning the intake side and replacing it with fo...

Re: Mk1 Driveshafts - compatible with mk3?
turbo shafts will bolt onto the mk1 SC output tulips but wont slide into the SC box as complete shafts....but a mk1 short side SC shaft is identical to a mk2 turbo shaft apart from the bit that enters the diff.
No idea if a mk3 shaft fits a mk1 hub.
