Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] advise on tempt roof silicone fix.
No lube just carb and brake cleaner to get rid of any contaminates before using silicone and that stuff just evaporates off so should not of caused a issue.

Re: LEAKY T BARS
Raptor I was asking about the butyl tape method as mentioned above as not heard of that one. Yes silicone is easy and straight forward and I had used the guide you linked. BUT the silicone is NOT sticking firmly to my tbar seals for some reason so I have given up and fancy trying the butyl tape next.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] advise on tempt roof silicone fix.
Silicone sealant lol.
Did that as per guide degreased seals too, left overnight and its dry but peels/falls of the rubber seal on tbar glass.
That's my issue and confusion . don't know why its not sticking to the seal.

[Mk2] [Turbo] advise on tempt roof silicone fix.
Hi all first attempt I put the black silicone on the tbars themselves. Left a couple of days and then it just peeled off and hadn't stuck to the tbars.
Any idea what I did wrong or does the silicone go on the frame of car ?
Also has eccentric rod guides done already but water p1$$e$ in.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Second ecu in two years not working.
Capacitors in ECU blow and leak causing damage on board.
Can be repaired mine was very cheap.
Open it up and look as obvious if this.

[Mk2] [Turbo] fuel gauge reading.
Does it need ignition to read or does it stay at level of fuel without key in.
