Problem with posting them is they're virtually irreplaceable! I would be willing to wrap them as best I can but I wouldn't like to take responsibility for damage!
Would you not fancy a little road trip? Lol
Do you have a courier in mind?
After owning my MK1 for over 10 years I'm making the hard as hell decision to sell up! I've collected a lot of stuff over the years and most of it is in my lockup so when I get a chance I'll add some pics. All prices are collection. Some items I won't be willing to post for obvious reasons! So here ...
Sorry Pete, I've not put a price up as I'm not quite sure exactly what I have to be completely honest! I'd like to think a solid shell with a low mileage engine would go for a good amount. All the bits to rebuild it are there bar the interior (it was blue anyway so can't see anyone wanting to keep i...
Hi guys, I'm thinking of selling my project car. I've owned it for almost 10 years now and for the past 6 of those it's been in my lockup! The plan was to track it, however changes in my circumstances have made me think of selling it. It is a UK low mileage (just into 60,000 if I remember rightly) N...
Wow so glad I stumbled across this thread! I'm a huge rFactor fan. Got a beasty spec PC with a T500RS with shifter and F1 wheel, 7.1 surround and a big plasma . Love what some of you guys come up with, awesome talent!
I'll be watching this closely.
That was my initial thought, however the guage of the metal tubing is pretty thin. Although on second thought I suppose it wouldn't have to be too substantial to do its job.
I can't see that re-mounting the column would be all that difficult though, so long as the UJ is free to move
Yeah I have been thinking of an alternate way of mounting the coloumn. Was also considering a way of solid mounting it to allow me to shed the weight of the adjuster mechanism. This would also have to be integrated into a roll cage I think. Only problem is, all this will get very expensive and will ...
My main focus on this project is keeping weight to a minimum. Not to the point of being petty, I'm quite happy to comprimise when cost becomes high or designing new parts too complex. I've just got to the point of stripping out the dash and heater matrix. The heater isn't going back in (a smaller on...
Just for reference a set of long nose pliers will do the job without the need for bloodshed lol.(half the plies on the end of the rod, the other on the back of the clip, and squeeze!).
It's one of those simple solutions that get overlooked
Cheers guys
IIRC once you undo the bottom of the clip. the rod pulls out and the clip stays in place. Yeah this is true for the latch rods (the smaller ones) but the main door handle one has a wider end that clips into place. The clip then locks around this if you see what I mean. You can just about make it ou...
Be careful, as this might happen! http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/Nige_B/DSC00155.jpg This was the result of chasing my mates boss' V8 Vantage. Yes, I knew it would never happen but wanted to hear the noise from the Aston  . Unfortuanately I missed a gear, causing it to rev its nuts of...
I would've come to this if I seen it earlier! #-o . I've spannered for a Fiesta XR2 in the XR Challenge around Anglesea, it's a brilliant curcuit. Definately one for the spectators as there's no real blind spots, it's pretty open for all to see :thumleft: Hope you do (or did, by the time you read th...
I never thought I'd have to ask for help on something so petty! However how the hell do I remover this little clip to release the door handle?: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/Nige_B/DSC00426.jpg I've unclipped the bottom part but can't get the clip to release, can't even get anything in there ...
