Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Help Replace the part thats missing from the ariel base......
I used to go to him, bit expensive but AFAIK he's shut down now, sure I saw it on IMOC somewhere. Your grommet might actually be twisted round inside the spoiler but for the cost just get a new one, my nearest Toyota garage is about 20 miles away so I always get my stuff posted if you're not near on...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Does Drivers arm rest light up???
Hi Rubberchicken, You can tell it's cold as all the modding at the mo is stuff that can be pulled off and done inside. Looks like everyones playing with LED's at the mo......me too :thumleft: I've got a spare you can have that has the three lights you need. I have already removed the spring from the...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Heater leds
Cool, Thanks for the pics and how you've done it. That looks spot on to be honest, if you can figure the right side out that would be perfect. Door pocket done too heh? Was thinking about the way the guy did the needles, i'e. drilling into the perspex but as I haven't opened up the unit yet I'm not ...

Will do,
Hopefully have a crack at it some point this week, only worried about taking the needles off to remove the red paint as there's the usual nightmare when people remove them to do dials etc.
Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Heater leds
Hi Trev, I'm guessing you mean to replace the 5mm LED. First try will be the SMD strips http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=180294462709 but I've still got to open the unit up so I can measure what lengths. So far I've managed to do the door switches...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Quad brake light conversion
Hi Munnsy, I just got two double bulb holders and fitted them without bothering with the diodes, mines a UK so there was no previous wire butchering and it gives me just the 4 side lights without interfering with the rest, main reason for doing mine was to give a bit more light output for Mr Plod as...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Why do I end up warping the discs again!
Too true Steve,
"Stock MR2 SW20 rev 2+ brakes won't warp if used properly. "
I'm on Rev1, but through experience have found that patten parts aren't as good as Mr T's so might be down to the false economy of buying ebay/cheaper stuff.
Cheers

I managed to warp 2 sets of drilled and grooved? Problem it seemed was me having too much fun!

Hi Red,
Yep, everything is 3mm except the two 5mm for the backlighting.
I've got the "How To" for doing the aircon buttons at home, I'll forward the link to it later.

The Bear,
Love the heater, As Red said it's spot on.
What led strips did you use and how many bulbs, position etc, any clues would be handy
Cheers

Hi Red, Guess the camera shows it worse than it looks to the eyes. If you're happy then that's all that matters. Hi Richie, These are the ones I got http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2pcs-501-W5W-5-Power-SMD-LED-Blue-Dash-Wedge-Bulbs_W0QQitemZ190274715681QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash...
