Re: Very quick washer jet question

Lot of money for a few bits of pipe! dont do it.

My objection wasnt really the fitting but the fact the washers aimed into the wiper (therese no direction control on them).

They also look a bit too big IMO - just make sure your exisuting ones are clean using a pin or something.

Re: Any benefits fitting a Turbo oil filter on NA?

The only difference is the turbo oil filter has a bypass should the filter become blocked. Correction - they BOTH contain bypass valves. The only difference is a higher capacity but I would stick with what Toyota suggest ie. standard size for an N/A Subject covered in depth incl photos here http://...

Re: Battery dieing, what to replace it with?

www.eurocarparts.com are doing 20% off batteries at the moment and if you put your reg in it will show you a range of suitable ones which even if you dont buy one from them would be useful for comparison. BTW Would never buy another battery from Halfords after recently being refused a replacement un...

Re: Import back bumper on UK car

The only issue you should find is with the polystyrene insert surrounding the number plate recess so make sure you get the insert with the bumper otherwise your bumper will deform too easily. Also, on imports there are 2 supports welded to the car to mount the japanese numberplate on which I assume ...

Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...

There are some rubber bellows where the handbrake cable exits the sheaving which split with age allowing water in which freezes the cable in place. Check its not this. I tried to find replacement bellows but couldnt find anything suitable so TBH only real solution is to replace the 2 rear cables whi...

Re: Snowfoam

Just taking some of Harolds points into consideration its worth noting... If you think it will save you time it won't - it takes longer as you still have to wash your car by hand anyway. Its not a replacement for hand washing, as pointed out you still have to hand wash it afterwards. However, if you...

Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...

You should see the logo on it change from blue to a pinky red - once it does that put it in the micowave in a bowl for about 5 mins to refresh it then pop it back in the car. If you keep one in the car all the time it helps minimise condensation on cold days :-)

Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...

Pingi moisture absorbing bags are great for removing damp in the air - Ive used one of these in the cars and it really help that winter condensation effect. They change colour when "full" then you just put them in the microwave for about 5 min and then theyre ready to go again. There are d...
