Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting XS-Power Motoria Style De-Cat Downpipe

Before you undo all your hard work redouble check tightness of all nuts particularly any that were hard to get at at the time. I would also check your oil level since you did an oil change plus the dipstick is secured properly and the bracket that holds the dipstick. Did you loosen any studs and if ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting XS-Power Motoria Style De-Cat Downpipe

Does it appear to increase with revs?

You've not done anything else besides the pipe such as an oil change or anything have you?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting XS-Power Motoria Style De-Cat Downpipe

I think as a firs step I would go back and recheck the tightness of everything.

Did you use fresh gaskets? Id particularly check the O2 sensor gasket/studs/nuts

Re: Painting brake calipers

So, if your intending to disconnect the caliper be careful what type of paint you use. Personally, I would leave them connected and just paint in sit...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Suspenion issues

Have you ever replaced the front lower ball joints? Sounds like the issue I have just had/cured. All the steering felt fine and car tracked straight etc however if you accelerated whilst turning there was a chatter out of the suspension. Also, if the car wnt over anything bigger than a catseye there...

Re: Where to buy tyres

I used to use mytyres but now use camskill who always deliver next day and the prices are very competitive - £2.99 per tyre I happened to notice a company www.tyresonthedrive.com who are slightly more expensive than camskill but they come to your house and fit them which I'm going to try next time f...
