I dont think you can get DS pads for the stock Caliper. Great street/track pad though.

Depends what your mods are. If you have basic bolt one and want to up the boost slightly, absolute must is a boost gauge then a EBC, even a MBC is ok too.

Re: Alternator Removal - Rev 3 Turbo
I haven't removed it with the engine in the car but you just gotta lever it off. It's pinched into the bracket that the bolt goes through. Not sure if it'll pivot down enough and if you can use a drift or something similar to knock it off from the top. Otherwise try a drift through the bottom. also ...

I think I remember it going into a sensor now. Will check and let you know tomoz but actually think it was to the AC idle valve.

Re: Calling oil pressure gauge runners!
Actually location may be a factor mines taken from the ports next to filter so the head may be delayed slightly as pressure builds.

Re: Calling oil pressure gauge runners!
I got the very same gauge and cold start pressure is immediate. Then settles once warm. My cold Pressures is 75psi , but my Pressures won't matter as depends on clearances, oil , location etc.

Re: struggling to choose the right set of springs
Teins have hard spring rates. Not suited to the shock imo. 40mm is also on the max side for the yellow Billie's but mine are ok on spax.
Eibach are hard to get hold of.

Re: struggling to choose the right set of springs
Apex are soft and the lesjofers are softer still. I have spax 40mil drop on yellow Billie's and think it's the best combo on a fixed strut imo. Retains a really good compliant ride while being firm and flat through the bends. If your shocks are tired though it may just be cheaper to go couplers.

Re: Anyone seen this before? Oil light
Try cranking the engine with the EFI fuse out then start it and see if it still does it. That should confirm oil filter and rule out something more serious. Obviously getting a gauge on there sharpish is the best thing. I'm surprised you didn't have one fitted. I would say it's important following a...

The one in the BM switches maps based on tank full or not. But interesting to see the other concept of waterboost is that a special injector, all in one? Must be a small shot it lasts 1800 miles between refills.
