Re: Aston Martin V8 VS Rev 3 tubby...

Do people really take Porsches to drag strip days? Never been myself so I have no idea, genuine question. I drive a 911 because I want to, not because it's all I can afford too :oldtongue: My point was more that generalisations are very easy to make, and I very much doubt that the AM owner lost any...

Re: Thinking of moving to an sw20

I have to disagree with the tubby comments. It's true an n/a isn't all that quick... about the same as the majority of current hot hatches but as you say you want to reduce fuel costs I doubt you will with a tubby so that's one target already missed. Also you say you want to change for something mo...

Re: Value

Desirability of Supra's nil... the huge google-eyed headlights with the wallowy car size was a reminder of Medallion Man with the stick on hairy chest. To you maybe, but a good tidy 6 speed Supra is highly desirable and will command 10K+; Supras still have a good following unless you own an MR2 it ...

Re: t-bar silicone trick

Apply the silicone to the corner surface/edge its a diagonal surface of rubber, say 4mm thick and place the cling film to the body of car seal side and clip the tbar back in placed and leave a day for it to set then trim off the excess. The silicone will fill the gap in the diagonal gap where they n...

You mean without sunroof. All JDM cars were either T bar or tin top without sunroof. This one is an import turbo but has uk clocks fitted. 40k seems very low

You can still get it, but the full kit is thousands of pounds new. I know of a pretty mint full PP car here in the UK, not sure if hes selling though

There are ways of getting in without smashing the window if you want to know via pm?

I thought as the car has a UK equivalent, it would be subject to a UK 3SGE MOT? unless its and early 3SGE without a cat?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Blitz exhaust bung do any damage?

When my MR2 was running a single exit exhaust (Apexi N1 style), I noticed with the bung in, it would hit full (raised) boost at 1.2 bar momentarily, then the restriction would stop the car boosting and pressure would go down to 0.8 bar and the car would slow down
