Re: Bad day at the MOT Station, please help.
Turn headlights on, let them raise.
Go into the FRONT Fuse box in your "Frunk" and remove the fuse marked "RTR" if I remember is the 30amp
That will stop the headlights going down.......assuming thats what you are talking about!!

Re: Pics of Mel's new Sills
My wife had a full pro respray on her MR2. Sills were replaced and they used Ford KA Sills, which were apparantly damm near the exact same as MR2 sills, but were £25 the pair

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Triple gauges in centre console
Yep, mine are 52mm gauges, although 60mm could probably be squeezed in, it would be tight though :) I looked at doing 60mm panels when these were made up, to be honest it would of left such a thin lip around the panel that it would of been delicate to say the least. Now watch someone go and do 3 x ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Triple gauges in centre console
52mm 60mm is just far too big and cannot be done. If the one on Gaz's is the same as the ones I do, you get a DIN sized panel ready to accept the 3 gauges. Some minor chopping to do on your own centre panel to remove the vents then bond the gauge panel straight in. The gauges are angled slightly tow...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Anyone tried these?
best place is from LED Depot (http://www.led-depot.co.uk/) let him know you have been talking to me and I'm sure he will sort you out. Also does an excellent range in all the LED bulbs for the MR2 and makes an awesome job of converting the heating control units WITHOUT having any dull spots ;-) Graeme

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Anyone tried these?
They WILL fit all lights that take a standard Tail/brake - Tail bulb on our cars. All the legs are folded together which fits (just) through our bulb hole, once they are half way through the springs open the legs and they fan out. Everything else is as per normal. We have fitted them to approx 10 MR...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Anyone tried these?
The difference in brightness is like night and day. Just realised that this pic actually shows the inners with the bulbs in, the outers also have, but the brake pedal is being pressed hence the outers are brighter. Gayle does'nt have these wired up for all 4 on with brakes. http://www.22817448.net/g...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Miester R coilovers? Has anyone got them/tested them?
Hi Bud, Yep I have the MeisterR's on my tubby, got them about 3months back now, and I have to say, they are bloody awesome. With them being a double perch system, you can get a good ride height drop WITHOUT it affecting the ride. 32 position adjuster that is easily accessible to change from Soft to ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Anyone tried these?
Both mine and my wife's car have these fitted, they are 1000 per cent better than standard, so nobody runs in the backend.....you cannot miss the light :-) at night they look great as you get the patter of the arms. Think ours were cheaper as they were supplied by our son-in-law who runs LED Depot :...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Carbon bonnet wrap
Many thanks.......I did the work.....First attempt, with the assistance of son-in-law.
Vents are something I have had for many years now, used to supply them along with many other first class body parts, but alas my workload is stupid now so very little time for anything else unfortunately.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Carbon bonnet wrap
HEXIS is the other one that most reputable wrapping companies use. If you are talking Black, then when you compare the Di-Noc and Hexis, the Di-Noc is very grey, as opposed to the Hexis which is a definate black, it also has a nice sheen to it. I wrapped the Rev 5 blade and the Brake light hoop. Had...

Re: mounting gauges in the centre console
Ok, I think I'm confusing my terminology, when I said IAT I meant the MAT sensor, IAT/AIT is the one in the air filter area right? So does the PFC take it's temp reading from the AIT/IAT or the MAT sensor? I dont really know where it takes it from, can only assume its the AIT, always very near the ...

Re: mounting gauges in the centre console
When I am measuring the temps, the pre IC temp is always within .5 of what the PowerFC is reading. Is that normal? Doesn't the PFC take it's reading from the IAT sensor in the inlet manifold? That suggests your IC isn't doing much..... My fault for misleading you :-) I pickup one of the sensors in ...
