No all BOLD posts:
This can be considered quite rude, or ?shouting?. Please make sure the caps lock is off when you post.

No abuse of colour, font, font size: This can lead to difficult viewing conditions for some users. Please only use the colour, font, and font size for highlighting. Although available for use, abuse of BBCode them will result in them being lost and your account being restricted. Examples include: Posts all in bold or underlined or caps.

No bad language or swearing:
We encourage you to use the Forum here to debate topics, but please use proper adjectives to express yourself. We do not tolerate circumvention of our word filter

No text speak or foreign language posts: English is the forum language. Those that don?t use English as their first language should use an online translator (eg babelfish) to make and read posts.

Posts in a particular forum should stay on topic: Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from the topic of a forum, please take it to Off Topic Forum, where there are relaxed constraints. Thread hijacking is discouraged and such posts will be removed where they interfere with the topic.

No spamming: Either to the Forum or Via Private Messaging system. Spam includes Unsolicited commercial messages via PM, or by making posts that have no content, or are made to annoy, advertise or increase a member's post count.

Bumping Threads: Resurrecting old forum posts is also not appreciated unless it serves a worthy cause to the forum. This determination is made by the forum Moderator or Administrator and obvious abuse will result in threads being removed.

No Graphic Material:
Of either a macabre or pornographic nature.

Linking to other car forums:
If you wish to make IMOC members aware of posts on other car forums, you should copy the content over to your IMOC post so that members do not have to click the link to get the content (especially as the content may only be viewable if you are a member of that forum). A link may be provided for reference at the end of the post. Posts just containing links with no content will be removed.

No garage abuse:
This is an MR2 forum, so the garage is for MR2s only.

No ? mile table abuse: ? mile times that are in our top 10 runs require verified timeslips (or other authentication such as video clips)

No garage ?most money spent? abuse: Cars in the top 10 spent require invoices to be included.

No garage ?modifications? abuse:
Service Consumables such as Oil, Spark plugs, etc do not count as a modification.

No Avatar Abuse: Avatars are a premium member benefit, and should be no greater than 12kB, size should be under 115x115 pixels. This includes avatars hosted by other websites.

No Signature Abuse: No Signature Abuse: Signatures are a premium member benefit, and should be no greater than 460x60, and around 25Kb. Any larger and the moderation team will apply their judgement to remove it. Animated Signatures are not permitted. Only a single still image or 3 lines of text.

To help you resize any Avatars or Signatures to meet the above limits, you can use an online tool at http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ or use tools Microsoft provide for XP or Windows Vista (beta)

No alternate accounts are allowed: Should you be disciplined with a restriction or ban, you are not allowed to open a new account to obtain freedom to post. Restrictions and bans are given for a reason, and usurping that ability by re-registering is not tolerated. If another account is opened, that account will be banned immediately.
