Used to be quite regular organised by a chap called Draven, but haven't seen him around (not sure he has his MR2 anymore). You could always organise some more. :)

Yep dave (DRAVEN) used to organise it, dont know if he still has his tubby, might be worth PMing him.

He used to organise them in the summer, hopefully there will be a couple this year. \:D/

Yup, Dave used to organise the Concrete Cows meets, but he's sold his MR2 and is unsure when/if he'll get another. He mentioned he may try to organise another meet or two this year, but that was a while ago and he's not come onto IMOC much recently, so I'm not sure that'll still happen.

If I get the time and if I get the Mk1 sorted, I may try to organise something in MK (it's 20 mins away from me) but due to a number of other commitments, don't hold your breathe too much! Nothing stopping you from organising something though!

Northants Jap Forum organises monthly meets too. I think the next one is on the 27th

I tend to see quite a few mr2s around Newport Pagnell / Milton Keynes, especially on days when the Pod is open! I'm sure it would be worth arranging some kind of santa pod meets pub lunch day? I'm only over in Buckingham (used to live in Olney which is on the way from M1 J14 -> Santa Pod) so it's all within 20 minutes!

funny you should say that there was quite a large oc Meet with about 20 mr2s at santa pod yesterday. Was a good day out i think there is talk of another in March time.
i am also living in Mk now and have started going to the meets organised by steve "doeboy" see link.

The last one had about 10 mr2s and was a nice little pub meet. Having said this if someone did something in MK its self i would also come along.

Max -> You should have brought it to the skidpan then instead of your sis's Rover ;)

I guess the OC at Santa Pod would explain this -> http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=87965

I live in Oldbrook. Used to have a Mk1 now onto a mk2. Would be good to meet my fellow milton keynes mr2'ers and put faces to user names!

Already know max from scotland and Jae. :thumleft:

Why? We clearly made enough of an impression with the Rover for you to remember it!!!

My Mk1 has been off the road since October (suspension change, many, many, many hurdles) and my sis had bald tyres on her Mk1 and was waiting for the replacements, so the Rover was the sensible choice in the end... :(
