Sunday 1st May - Essex Halfway House.

Post by CosmosblueMR2 »

Lets make this a goodun... !

As previously suggested last month would people be interested in meeting say 2/3pm at the Halfway House then at say 4pm we go for a cruise to a "feature" pub ?

Last time was a very good effort down to the coast *ahem* (sarfend  ) where a top nosh Carvery was served up after we scared the locals with Bobby and Mike JC's exhaust "notes"
Suggestions welcome for the "feature pub" to cruise to.

my vote is for a nice country pub with some interesting country lanes in order to get there
I will also be in full swing with my newly self installed IMOC event write up duties  - I've got my webpage all sorted , laptop is now working and digicam is poised ready for action... just need to practice the old "story telling" to go with the pics - should be fun !

let me know on suggestions for the "feature Pub"

cheers , Frank \:D/

I'll be there :D The last meet was great fun with the added extra of actually using our cars for once instead of standing around pointing at shiney bits in our engine bays whilst dribbling =P~

See you all there

i tell ya when we was at bolney.and headed down to brigton for a great pub lunch...WHY DID YOU NOT COME???? one of the guys handed me a walkie talkie...and it was great to keep in touch i think about at least eight cars had one...but i still managed to lose the convoy...
i had a real bad spin on the way out of bolney heading up the slip to join A23
the car fishtailed a few times i xxxx myself released my foot off the gas and car did about 3 full turns up the hill...wow...never again...one guy reckon i hit a oil slick has i gave it a boot up the sliproad.and taking my foot off the gas did not help.....

We did make our way into Brighton, around 45 mins after you all left :D We had a look in the Asda car park but could only find your car I believe so we parked else where. We had a bite to eat in the pub type like place next to the Mc D's. I did think to give you a call to see where you had all got to but it turned out that I had not saved your number :( ](*,)

As for the spin.........MR2.....rear wheel drive....245+ bhp......rain all day......= tail happy fun.......= brown pants

Hi Karl.

Not sure myself as to which meet i'll go along to but most likely the Halfway House as like you mentioned it's a little later in the day which allows time to get the car ready :D

As for wanting to meet the Bunny........already done so on many occassions along with the mentioned other half
