[Mk2] [Generic] Rev 6 Angel Eyes

Post by MRV6 »

I was originally looking to put some angel eyes into the air intakes on my sard front bumper but I just could not get the look right. Anyhow after a bit farting about I managed to get them to fit in the cowl. Wired them to come on when the side lights come on.

Interesting idea and one I've entertained before. What kind of units did you use?

Personally I'm not a fan of the blue-ish, cool-white LEDs. Do they come in warm white?

Thanks. 90mm ones like this, I presume?

A quick search doesn't immediately bring up a warm white 4500-5000k option to match my other bulbs, just the blue-ish 6000k which, in my head, are too closely associated with morons who have illegal HID glarefest retrofits :(

Don't worry, I wasn't suggesting you were responsible for moron bright HIDs :thumleft: I'm just saying all the moron bright HIDs are 6000k
