Best 185/60 Tyres for teardrops

Post by tomsky »

Need to replace my tyres on standard tear drop wheel's. Does anyone have any brand recommendations? Wet weather performance no too important as I isn't driven in the wet. Currently using Dunlop sp sports which have been fine but doubt they are still around.

Thanks
Tom

I've had a quick schmooze on mytyres.co.uk and there are a few available in that size which I'd consider:

Vredestein Sportrac 5s - I've had them on the Celica in 205/50/16 and they're very nice tyres, the side wall is a little on the soft side though

Uniroyal Rainexpert 3s - Again had them on the Celica and liked them.

Toyo CF-2s - My friend had CF1s on his Mk1, standard wheels and rated them for daily driving.

Falken ZEIX 914s - generally well regarded tyres

Yoko AE01 - Not tried them but have had other Yoko tyres and they are good.
