Hello all,
I tried to bleed my clutch and I was surprised with the color of the clutch fluid that is coming out of the system is a nasty brown color. Looks a bit muddy.
Is it normal?

Over time the fluid will absorb water that turns it a little milky. Add to that the rubber seals deteriorate also and blacken the fluid some. That might give you the result you have.
Having put new fluid through til it runs clear, if the system still functions correctly, bleed some off after a couple of weeks to check it's still clear.
Start budgeting for a new master and slave. And whilst you are changing those it may be prudent to replace the hose to the slave.

Old and needs changing. If the system was functioning normally before, it'll be fine with a flush and change.
