[Mk2] [Turbo] ARC Air Box interest?

Post by CalMac »

I've got an ARC on my Rev 3 turbo and was wondering if there would be a market for a similar product if I was to make some airboxes inspired by the ARC. I vaguely remember a customer telling me that ARC are either gone now or are in the final stages of business closure, not sure how true this is? Obviously the boxes are pretty rare now and the price they go for is madness!

Not looking to sell on here (I don't want to tread on any toes with trader status etc.) but just wondered what would be a reasonable ball-park figure and if enough MR2 owners would be interested for me to have a go at making some.

Also, does anyone know where the air filter panels can be sourced from? Couldn't decide which was the correct one on RHD Japan

Hmmmmm :-k

I imagine with import tax and delivery it'd come to about £300.

Looking at the one they're making it does seem like quite a bit of work though

70% of the originals price at the same quality is a good starting point. could ask alot more if there's a market for the product and the originals discontinued .. and your quality's just as good.

http://www.nengun.com/arc/super-induction-box sell them around the £320 mark .. and for the mr2 I think there discontinued

I would be tempted at £225 ... could be worth making a prototype and let people decide what they think its worth .. for all I know you might make a product better that arc :D then the sky's the limit for what you can ask O:)

Got this from Jamitsi for sale thread , hope he doesnt mind.

If you can replicate this you will have takers if the price is right .. dont know if you can buy replacement arc filters for the project .. k & n more than likely do one .
