pkmr2 and Legit run out

Post by pkmr2 »

I have only known Legit (Matt) for a couple of weeks but he's a great guy he picked up his Tubby last Saturday it's a sweet ride :thumleft:

So tonight we had a little blat around some of my favourite Sevenoaks country roads finishing back on top of the view point on Ide Hill.

Here are a couple of pics taken at our finsh point as the cars were cooling down :D

Cheers buddy :D Same goes for pkmr2 - top bloke!

Too bad one of my intercooler hoses worked it's way loose... the lack of boost saddens me :( I must admit though, the combination of the Apexi N1 (I think that's the one anyway) and the HKS SSQV on Pete's car certainly made for an epic soundtrack for me poodling along behind!

I'll definitely be out on one of these runs again (this time with actual boost and a new 'zorst ) and I highly recommend any other local tubby/NA owners to tag along. There's a nice pub (The Woodman) close by and it makes a good base of operations. Oh and there's also plenty of bridges/short tunnels around to appreciate all of the awesome car sounds ;)

All in all, I'd call that an evening well spent :thumleft:

And me please. :)

As for pubs, there is also The C o c k* Inn in Ide Hill and the King Henry VIII in Hever. I see the Wheatsheaf at Bough Beech has reopened more than a year after it shut its doors. It used to be on my list of 'go to' pubs in the past so I must find out if that has changed.

How do you find driving with the T-bar sections out?

I love having the sky-view above me but as soon as I take them out and get the wind whistling loud as hell above me I regret the decision. I musn't be the only one!
