A close shave

Post by jimi »

Been finding a few odd drops of water under my car when I got home from work after 3 weeks, nothing major and didn't seem to be losing any water. I decided to investigate the other day and eventually found this

and the other end

I changed all my hose clips a few years ago for stainless ones, but missed these as the top ones are up under the lower suspension cross brace and the bottom ones are hidden by the undertrays.
The clips just fell off in my hand, here's what was left

and shiny new stainless clips fitted

Its normally the hidden things that cause the problems.

They are a bit awkward to get to, I took the chance to change my cross-brace at the same time, once that was out the way they were easy to get to :D
