Theres some in the track/Motorsport part of the forum
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- from the recent donny day
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- in a MK1 though, but still useful footage.

Theres other footage kicking around on the net if you look hard enough, I had a vid of a MR2 doing a hill climb, but then ending up in the ditch about 4 mins later.

I would say that the MR2 would be a great track car, as you have everything where it needs to be
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(ie engine in the rear, rwd etc.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
) and that it'd handle remarkably well
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- wet or dry dependant on the tyres you're running.

As for track modifications
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- lose all the un-necessaries
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- ie Aircon, abs, carpets, most of the weight you can find
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- ie light seats etc.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Then start with harder suspension
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- which you can fully adjust
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- some track day wheels with slicks on for dry weather.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
And then you should have a fairly quick, fun track car.
