Hi guyz what will cause my NA to have bad fuel economy before any one says lamba sensor ive checked with toyota it hasn't hgot one which are the other usuall suspect in this case then!

Make sure ignition timing is OK and that plugs leads dizzy cap and rotor arm are all in good shape.
Otherwise make sure the clutch isn't slipping and that the beakes aren't binding.

cheers for the reply mate toyota mentioned the air flow meter as a possible suspect thou im not sure how u test that

Does it have a clean air filter in it? Correctly inflated tyres?

jus got a new HKS induction kit and the tyres are currectly inflated! Toyota worked it out as 8 mpg which is poo

Have you run a diagnostic check?? I'd have thought that a faulty AFM would show as a code (possibly 31 or 32)

Noi haven't mate to be honest im not too sure how to do that it has been mentioned but i dnt no how to check for codes !i was going to change it and see isf that made a difference

Really easy. Your diagnostic plug is in the engine bay. Its on the drivers side on the back wall. All you need is a straightened out paper clip ro a short piece of wire with both ends bared.

when was the fuel filter last changed?

the fuel filter was changed at the last service1 if it was the filter wouldn't that stop the car using alot of petrol due to less filtration
