PORSCHE 993

Post by The Morris »

Driving home slowly due to the petrol light on and a porsche comes flying up behind. Get to the dual carraigeway off a roundabout about 5 miles later and floor it. So does he. A car pulls out so i sit there in 3rd doing 50.
The car pulls in and off we go, i look in the mirror and hes still 5 car lenghts behind, i whip it into 4th and miss it. I cant get into 4th. I pull over to let him pass and i find 4th and get back out before he overtakes. Another car pulls out and i wait untill the next roundabout, the porsche has pulled back to 5 car lengths. I floor it out of the roundabout, into 3rd, hes still there, into 4th, hes still 5 car lenghts behind. I hit 100 and hes still 5 car lengths back. Now i can see him start to gain but its my exit and i have no fuel to play.

As he flies past i look at the back and its a TURBO :D :D :D

Well pleased with my car, cant wait to get my unichip fitted. :D

Sounds like he wasn't trying too hard mate. I should imagine a 993 turbo would take you with not too much effort TBH. :? :(

Given the weight of the Porker i'm not too surprised to be honest. By the time you have allowed for the power to weight ratio, things even up a great deal!

I pulled over as i hit fuel cut (119mph) on my clock and he went flying past. So i imagine he was trying. Out of the roundabout to 100 it was even and then he started gaining.

sounds like you had fun mate.
but if he was 5 cars lengths behind all the time, sounds to me like he was just keeping a safe distance instead of being right up your a**.
