Wii's. What A Total Useless Waste Of Time

Post by matt_mr2t »

Because you can't buy a console, if you already have one and want to play two player you'll be lucky to get another controller. But even if you manage to get those half the games you want are also sold out every where.

It actually annoys me that Nintendo have the cheek to advertise these things on TV all the time when they simply cant supply the 'kin things!

not wrong really. They've known for a couple of months (at least mid-late september) that there would be a shortage at xmas (I know this cos of the company I work for).

Would have thought that they could have sorted it out if they really wanted to.

I think it's pathetic that Nintendo, the oldest player on the block cant meet demands.

Also, why is it only Nintendo that make the remotes, you can get non Sony and non Microsoft controllers for those consoles.

They've been like gold dust for a couple of months. My brother resorted to buying a console from Spain. I bought a remote from Play that's come from Asia or some where and the 2 games picked out to chose from are sold out.

Admittedly there were some remotes in Game today but I didnt want to wait until the last minute hoping there might be some.

Alot of this is of course partially down to greedy people that buy them in bulk then sell them for ridiculous sums of money on ebay.

Just looked on HMV, Play and Gamestation websites, none have a simple new Wii console.

I went in game last friday and they had a few left and were gettin more on the saturday. The same things happened with the ps2 slims, everyone went mad for them then they came back in stock. Its the same with the DS, you cant get them either yet they've been out for years. They were selling for £90 and as soon as stock got low play put the price upto £130.

If they suddenly come in stock freely now there's gonna be alot of people who paid £300+ on ebay for them that'll be very disapointed.

It's a very bad show IMO and I STILL failed to get one of the two games the neices would have liked.

I've seen various adverts, they may be for games but they have big Wii logo's etc on them. Just as bad.

Well, they knew all too well that the RRP was £180, so if they pay silly money then that's their problem

There's also been quite a shortage of the Nintendo DS too
