I've been having a play about with the car. Added a front universal lip splitter, tie rods, side skirt extensions, rear spats and edge protection strip. Not every ones cup of tea but I quite like the end results. The blue protection strip is actually darker in the flesh.

Looks good. I'm not keen on the blue but like you say I can't really judge from pictures. Have you considered doing a full flat bottom (with duct for engine bay)?

I did have some plans somewhere for a full flat bottom in aluminium, I'll have to have a dig around.

Well we've just had the bathroom done and I was sat on the toilet one night and I looked at the upvc skirting board. I asked my mate who did it to drop me some 4 inch upvc skirting off as the profile is the same as the side skirt extensions you can buy. I cut it to length, flattened it down, plastic primed it and rattle canned it gloss black. I used some spring clamps to line it up and some dome headed allen bolts to attach them.Looks alright, although I'm going to get the car resprayed next year. So will get a proper job done on them then.

Aw great man!! Same with the splitter? I was gonna buy some perspex from b&q and cut it to shape (i want it to follow the profile of the border bumper) but keen to hear other ideas.
