[Mk2] [Turbo] engine management light always on

Hi All

The wife and myself have bought a rev2 turbo project with issues which we would like to get back upto road going and have some fun in but we are not going to throw good after bad money at

I know there are some issues but the first one being that the engine management light is on and does not go out, even in diagnostic mode. I can hear the relay clicking in an out and the car runs though a slightly bit rich but thats to be expected with these lol

Has one came across this problem or point me in the right direction

Check for blown caps on the ecu pcb.
Very common problem
