Well the time has come to move on. It's been a fantastic car but I really need more space. I've owned it for about 2 years now and have had great fun and spent a fortune on it. It drives perfectly and is roughly 230 BHP on full boost, I run it at max 7.5 psi normally but there is a high boost option on the boost controller. The engine runs perfectly, uses no oil what so ever and I have only just serviced it a few weeks ago. I have spent a lot of time and money on the body work which is in exceptional condition and at the moment it has the TRD stage 2 front bumper on but I still have a aerokit Spec R3 one in the garage I could swap over. The roof is in great condition and the underside has had a few coats of underseal since I bought it. It is kept in garage every time it is at home and regularly polished/waxed.
I'm asking £5000 and believe it's worth every penny.
Here's the spec list, there is probably a few things I have missed out.
Hass stage 2 turbo kit.
Barrel charge cooler with Bosch electric pump and alloy radiator.
Greddy Emanage blue with boomslang harness.
Greddy E-01 boost controller.
Open loop controller.
Stainless cone air filter.
Custom exhaust with catalytic converter and wide band lambda sensor inc gauge.
Uprated 420cc injectors.
Krank vents.
NGK colder grade spark plugs.
6 speed gearbox with solid bushes.
Uprated clutch.
B&M short shifter and solid cage mounts.
Mint condition Rota Grid 17 alloys.
Bridgestone Re002s 205/40/17 fronts and 225/45/17 rears with loads of tread.
Apexi coilovers.
Ultra racing front strut brace.
Under chassis brace.
Painted brake callipers.
EBC yellow stuff pads and grooved discs all round.
Stainless brake pipes.
Stage 2 TRD body kit.
Carbon fibre vented bonnet.
Genuine TRD stage 2 front bumper with new foglights.
HZaltezza side skirts.
HZaltezza rear bumper skirt and repainted rear bumper.
HZaltezza rear boot spoiler with brake light.
TTE rear bumper/number plate inserts.
Carbon fibre C-one side scoops.
Facelift vents.
Facelift headlights.
DAMD rear light covers.
Clear side repeaters.
Aerowiper blades.
Undersealed.
Honda s2000 leather heated seats with headrest speakers.
Navpod with Heads up display, oil pressure and temperature. Boost gauge.
Pioneer double din inc hands free phone and steering wheel remote.
Focal door speakers and tweeters.
Tomtom sat nav solid mounted.
Alloy heater control/ hazard trim rings.
Wind deflectors
As with all cars there are a few bad bits:
The TRD front bumper has a scuff right in the middle which the cleaner at work did a few days ago. I've been quoted £150 to re paint it or the price of the car can be negotiated to take this into account. I will probably be able to polish most of it out but I only had the bumper painted a month ago so it was mint before this.
The oil pressure gauge is a bit sticky to start with. It works fine but sometimes needs a tap to get the needle to jump up.
The aircon needs a recharge. I have replaced the condenser but haven't recharged it yet.

I really like that car and under different circumstances I would buy it
Thanks Ben

Not usually a fan of the MK3, but that looks great!
Re: MK3 TURBO.....
He's put a lot of time ,effort and cash into it...great looking car...!
I wouldn't normally post other peoples car sales...but I figured that if someone buys it, it prevents it being broken for parts....

Re: MK3 TURBO.....
"The roof is in great condition" except the rear strap is clearly not connected as it's developed that lip at the back when it's down. Usually means the internal fixings have torn out.

jayelem wrote:Does anyone have info on the hass turbo kit on this in comparison to the tte turbo that ive seen on other mk3s? Thanks!
Hass is a bigger turbo with the tte running out of steam much passed 200bhp. The Hass keeps on the power to in one case just shy of 300bhp but everyone is watching that one to see if she blows.
The strap might have just come undone rather than torn but is an easy fix anyway.
In all the car is worth the asking price, just wrong time of the year
Re: MK3 TURBO.....
The Hass kit was an utter POS unless you ploughed a fortune in it to sort out the crappy bits. The TTE/SP kit was a billion times better in every way.
And I speak as an ex-owner of both.

Yeah, people can be strange. I sold two SW's - both owners on their first nights of ownership decided that the cars needed to have their redline and rev limiters put to the test.
Both cars survived, but one popped of a few hoses making it run rough.
Young bloke rings me up and asks why its running rough, then tells me he's been redlining it. Car was over 18 years old, and had never once been cained that hard.
Why go and buy yourself a fairly old car thats been looked after and go and ring its neck asap?
Wonder if thats what has happened in this case.
Re: MK3 TURBO.....
Firstly I'm a lady. Who waited for gauges to warm up before even starting my baby. Then stood for 3 mins warming her engine before driving. Not once did I put her anywhere near the red line on the rev counter, or touch the 7.5 setting on ECU. Anyway hope to have her back in my hands soon. My Black Beauty will live on 😀
Truth comes out in the end.
SteveJ wrote:CrazySX wrote:how many miles had the engine done? The engine shouldn't blow unless it wasn't looked or running silly boost and not enough fuel, I am guessing the latter?
IF it IS Dave's car, then it had 105,000 (engine had about 80,000) on it when I sold it to him 2+ years ago and was quite happy running ~10PSI.
Again, IF it is Dave's old car, he was playing around with tricking the stock ECU into staying in open-loop all the time by feeding it false TPS signals - not something I personally would have tried and I'm sure the ECU has got it's own back![/quote
THIS WAS FROM ANOTHER FORUM, I WAS DONE OVER 😓
Never mind, my Black Beauty will live on, "I KNOW MY DREAM FOR HER WILL COME TRUE" "FAITH AND PATIENCE"
